- New wood should be first wiped down with White Spirit to remove surface resins etc. Highly resinous timbers and some hardwoods may effect performance and final results.

- Decant into paint kettle and apply an even coat, in the direction of the wood grain, to all surfaces to ensure optimum performance.

- Normally one coat applied liberally with a wide bristle brush is sufficient, however should you require a deeper colour a second coat may be applied after 12-24 hours.
- If desired Barrettine Decking Oil may be applied by synthetic roller or sprayer. However always back brush to ensure even coverage.
- Leave for 24 - 48 hours or until dry before subjecting to heavy foot traffic.
Please note the coverage will differ depending on the surface it is applied to.
