Preparation

  • To ensure your shed is watertight and fill any gaps or holes with

Application

Before applying, stir the product thoroughly and test a small area to ensure colour and adhesion. Colours can vary dependant on surface to be treated.

  • Apply 2-3 coats evenly and along the grain using a brush or roller
  • Allow 2-3 hours between coats
  • Apply only in dry conditions, above 5°C and when bad weather is not forecast
  • For strong colours more coats may be needed
  • If using more than one tin it’s advisable to mix together in a large container or finish in a corner before starting a new can to ensure consistency in colour

Note: Always follow the manufacturer instructions found on the tin.

To maintain your shed or fence reapply a maintenance coat every year to prolong the life of the wood. Occasional cleaning with a dampened cloth can also prolong the life of your treated wood.
