Overview
Dulux Weathershield Quick Dry Dark Grey Undercoat is ideal for the preparation of exterior wood and metal. It comes with a 10 year weather protection guarantee when used with Dulux Weathershield Exterior Gloss or Satin. The flexible undercoat is specially formulated for use on wood to resist cracking, providing the perfect base for the top coat.

Preparation
Ensure the surface is clean, dry and free from dirt and grease.
- Sand down the surface to remove any previous sheen and to remove any flaking paint.
- Areas affected by mould, algae or fungi should be treated with an appropriate .

- Repair any cracks or holes with an appropriate filler.
Application
Always test a small area of the surface to be painted to ensure you are happy with the finished results
- Stir thoroughly before use to ensure the paint is completely mixed.
- Apply 2 coats of to primed surfaces with a brush.
- Finish with 1 to 2 coats of Weathershield Quick Dry Exterior Gloss.
TIP: it is advisable to only use light colours on south facing resinous wood.
