Overview

Polyvine Acrylic Enamel Paint is ideal for use on both interior and exterior surfaces including, laminate, metal, tile, plastic, timber, and glass to name a few. They create an ultra-hard, high-quality, sandable coating with a satin/gloss finish that is resistant to stains, heat, and water. These tough durable enamels are available in a range of interminable colours which can be applied by brush or air sprayer.

Area Interior & Exterior
Recommended Use Laminate, plastic, metal, wood, glass, ceramic, card and porcelain. Safe for children’s toys.
Base Water-based
Coverage Up to 10-20 m² per litre
Drying Time 1-2 Hours

Recommended Coats 2-3 Coats

Preparation

Ensure the surface is clean and free from grease, wax or polish

  • Remove old wax or polish finishes using an appropriate stripper, for wooden surfaces we recommended .
  • Thoroughly rub down previously painted surfaces and wipe with a damp cloth to remove dust.

Application

Always test a small area of the surface to be painted to ensure you are happy with the finished results.

  • Stir well before use.
  • Apply using a good quality synthetic brush or low-pressure sprayer (do not use a roller).
  • For porous surface dilute the first coat with 10% water .
  • Leave to dry 1-2 hours.
  • Apply 2-3 coats.
  • If cissing occurs, rub onto affected area with a damp cloth to break the surface tension and re-apply.

Aftercare & Storage

Store in unopened container in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight
